Day 30: Sins of Commission

Sins of commision are any time we have broken God’s law or choose to do something that God forbids.

 

Here are some areas to consider…

 

Ephesians 5:5 (HCSB) For know and recognize this: no sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of the Messiah and of God.

 

Ephesians 5:12 (HCSB) For it is shameful even to mention what is done by them in secret.

 

Remember the times when you were a child and you did something you just did not want mom or dad to know about? It was so shameful, you wanted it to be kept a secret.

Unfortunately for many, there are still shameful activities going on as adults. No longer trying to hide them from parents, but keep them secret , and hide them from God.

Know that darkness cannot hide in the light! Come into the light, confess your sin to God, and turn away from shameful behavior.
