De-program
The spiritual journey is NOT a program.
Programs are good, sometimes great, but that’s not what this is.
This is about your RELATIONSHIP with God. The book we are using (“Returning to Holiness”) is comprised mostly of scripture. Expect God to speak to your heart. Experience the relationship with God as your pray through the words. When you begin to work through the book (or read the blogs here) read the scripture and the accompanying thought provoking questions and ask God to speak to you. If sin is revealed, confess it and seek the Holy Spirit’s power to overcome the sin. We are all on a journey and will all need to change something to move closer in our relationship with God. Remember that God loves you and wants you to come to Him… and remember that He loves us while we are still sinners – but He wants us to change.

I desire for all of us to cleanse oursleves of our many sins. I so desparately want to walk in the Spirit, to be consumed by Him. If we so desparately want this, let us throw off these sins that bind us and hold us down. O Lord, break our hearts over our sin.
